FRISCO, Texas (September 11, 2013) - US Youth Soccer is proud to announce that Decatur, Ala. and the Alabama Youth Soccer Association will host the 2014 US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Presidents Cup, June 12-15 at the Spirit of America Fields and Jack Allen Complex.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup competitions provide a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level.
"It is always exciting to begin planning for future US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup events, and part of that initial planning is choosing the best possible host city for each of our competitions," said John Sutter, President of US Youth Soccer. "Decatur was a great host for the US Youth Soccer Region III Presidents Cup in 2013 and we look forward to working with them again in 2014 for an even better tournament."
Each US Youth Soccer State Association
determines the path through which its state teams advance to the regional competitions. Regional winners of the Under-13 through Under-17 Boys and Girls age groups will earn a berth to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 10-13 in Greenville, S.C.
